Mr. Prakash Baral, Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Jyoti Bikash Bank, is the Chairman of BOD of Jyoti Capital Limited from December 17, 2023. Mr. Baral, who is a professional Chartered Accountant from ICAI, has holds academic qualification of Master’s degree in Economics and L.L.B from Tribhuvan University.
With 14 years plus of progressive banking experience, Mr. Baral has garnered vast knowledge and skill in Banking and Capital Market with working experience with BDO International India, Nepal Bank Limited and Prabhu Bank Limited and Assistant General Manager of NIC Asia Bank. He had a successful tenure as the Director of NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha.

Ms. Uma Shrestha, Chief Financial Officer of Jyoti Bikash Bank Ltd., is the member of Board of Director of Jyoti Capital Limited from 20th January 2025. Ms. Shrestha, who is Chartered Accountant from ICAN and holds academic qualification of Master’s degree in Management from Tribhuvan University.
With 12 years plus of progressive banking experience, Ms. Shrestha has garnered vast knowledge and skill in the Financial sector and Nepalese Banking Sector.

Mr. Abhinash Uprety (Senior Credit Analyst) at Alaya (formerly known as Home Loan Experts Nepal). He has been working in the Australian Mortgage Broking Industry for the last 5 years as a Credit Analyst.

Previously, had been working at Automobile Industry for more than 2 years as well and prior had been taking part in internship programs and seminars with different National Level banks of Nepal.

Mandeep, a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 7+ years' experience, is a member of ICAN and holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from ACCA, UK. Specializing in banking, private equity, strategic planning, risk management, and SME financing, he facilitates foreign direct investment and conducts due diligence across sectors. Serving as a board member of the Nepal Chamber of Tax Consultants and Sustainable Finance Coordinator at the UN Global Compact, Mandeep directs operations at Pathfinder Advisory Services and Leaf Plus Private Limited, exporting biodegradable cutleries. With prior roles at Marie Stopes International, One to Watch, and PKF T R Upadhaya, he offers expertise in internal auditing, business analysis, and advisory services to multinational corporations, SMEs, and financial institutions. Selected for representation at prestigious global events, Mandeep exemplifies leadership and commitment to sustainable development.
